About Me

   At the tender age of 4, while sitting and watching her mother get ready for work, Emily Skyle made a decision. She announced that by the age of 9, she was going to lose all of her teeth, get married and be a "Super-Star" like Olivia Newton John!

   Now, at a not so tender age, she still has one baby tooth left, there is no sign of an engagement ring and Michelle Pfeiffer got the lead in Grease 2...ouch.

   Although many of her goals have changed, a tiny part of her still wishes she could be in a film where she would begin dressing like a slut & start a bad smoking habit for a man - then get whisked away in a convertible that flys.

   Until then, Emily is more than happy with the success that she has experienced in Chicago. Even though her current focus is primarily film and television, she definitely misses the world of late night comedy performances (Ok, maybe not the "late night" part!) Over the last several years, she has been seen performing at The Second City (Liquid Lunch, American Booty, The Facsimile and Biological Error) and at Improv Olympic(IO) with the teams Local 914 and The Vatican. She also performed at the Noble Fool Theater (Damage Control, Kerouac Jack,Sex in the Suburbs and The Baritones)the WNEP Theater (Cunin Family Chronicles, Bent) and with the Playground Theater teams (Dually Noted, Sandbox Bullies and Sit Pretty).

  She looks forward to continued growth as a performer and taking advantage of all that this city has to offer...oh, and she still wouldn't mind mastering the hand jive!
